Property on Pine Cay often remains within families. However, from time to time, some of the privately- owned homes and vacant building lots come up for sale. All front on the sea or small inland lakes and offer unique views.

Purchasers must become members of the Pine Cay Homeowners Association in order to enjoy privileges at The Meridian Club and avail themselves of maintenance, transportation, housekeeping, gardening, and other services provided by the Club staff. In addition to an initiation fee, all members pay annual dues. To be considered for membership, a prospective buyer must first become acquainted with most of the current members and demonstrate an appreciation for the ideals of the Association. Several visits to Pine Cay and discussions with Association Board members will aid in understanding the obligations of membership.

The Pine Cay community is not represented by a single real estate service. Instead, property owners can choose to retain their own realtor to market their property or sell privately themselves. Therefore, a realtor cannot make representations on behalf of The Meridian Club or the Pine Cay Homeowners Association. Reservations and special accommodation packages at The Meridian Club and private homes can only be arranged through the Club office.
